Ecuador Adventures
Part II - The Galapagos Islands
The Galapagos Islands
After a short flight from Quito, we landed in one of the most incredible places we have, and possibly ever will, have the privilege of exploring. The gorgeous Galapagos Islands, brimming with rare wildlife and beautiful landscapes would be our home for the next week or so. We board Yacht La Pinta to begin our expedition through the islands, South Plaza Island was our first stop.
After a sunset stroll on South Plaza we sailed through the night to more of the islands.
Punta Pitt & Punta Suarez.
The Galapagos are home to some gorgeous beaches, beautiful vies, crystal clear waters and littered with wildlife completely unbothered by humans.
Cerro Brujo.
On the main island of the Galapgos, Isla Santa Cruz, we got to explore some of the diverse landscapes and eco-systems, and walk with some of the endemic Galapagos Tortoise, one individual was as old as 90, an incredible experience to share a couple of moments with such an amazing animal.
